I have prizes too. 3 in Fact. The Spellbinders Small and Large die of the Month and the Glimmer of the month. Winners will selected from comments left her and announced in my Sunday November 15th blog post.
Today, I’m creating with the beautiful border die and the fabulous snowflake. I shared the tree dies last week with you here.
Cut the image out of thick card stock and stitch through the holes to create beautiful designs. I find this so very relaxing, I spent all of Sunday afternoon making these two cards.
For the Slimline Card:
I chose blue and white with gold highlights for my color scheme. In hindsight, not such a great choice as the gold is extremely hard to take a picture of LOL, but you get the idea right?
The snowflake is stitched in gold and blue and then layered over a die cut gold snowflake. This allowed the gold to shine through all the little cut outs.
Next, I die cut the snowflake 3 more times into the card front before mounting it to the gold mirror mat so the beautiful design shines through in the background too.
Finally, the alpha dies are from the June 2020 Large Die of the Month set “How Does Your Garden Grow” and the perfect size for adding a sentiment. The stem and flower overlay are also included in that set.
Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Stitched Cards – Joy Card
For this card I cut that beautiful border out twice, once in white and once in gold. After the stitching was done on the white one, I slid the gold under so just a bit of the scalloped edge shows.
Once mounting to the blue card base, I added a strip of gold, a gold snowflake cut using the Spellbinders Snowflake Splendor Die Set and the same Alpha set.
Finally, I added a Rhinestone to the center of the snowflake. There is so much going on in this card it doesn’t need any further embellishments.

Gorgeous! I love how you combine so many elements from current and past kits. I’m so glad I belong to “the works” club…so much inspiration here! TYFS! ❤️🦋💜
These blog hops just make my day. I love the creativity and inspiration you designers provide. Your projects are always a delight to see but this months’ projects are beautiful works of art! I respectfully disagree; your color choices were spot on (even if difficult to photograph). This color combination is not only gorgeous but so memorable! I would be interested to see what you would do with same dies and add Pear Blossoms Press’ EZ-LIGHTs to the them. I look forward to the next hop, as I really like your projects! Thank you for the joy!
Wow beautiful!! Love all!! Thank you for sharing!!
