I had so much fun with this month’s Large Die of the Month Kit, I thought I would give it another go.  You can see my original card at the end of this post.  This die set has dies to create the banners and the overlay sentiments as well so you can make as many layers as you like.  On my first card I did three, this one two.  I also changed out my color palette for today’s cards using Spellbinders Cardstock in Pink Sand, Chamomile, Rainforest, Portobello, Waterfall and Teal Topaz.

Spellbinders May Clubs Blog Hop and Give Away Card:

Start with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of white cardstock and emboss it with this month’s 3D Embossing Folder Balloons and Birthday Wishes.

Next, mount that to the front of a top folding A2 sized White Card Base.

Then, die cut all the flowers and banner pieces and glue them all together with the fine tip on the Bearly Art Glue.

Finally, embellish with a white gel pen and white pearls.

Now it’s time to hop along to the next spot in the hop, my creative friend Sara.  If you get lost along the way, you can start at the beginning at the SPELLBINDERS BLOG.

  1. Do you stack your die cuts or is it just the card stock and the way you use the white pen? The dimension you create with your cards is awesome. Your Memory Box Curved Magnolia Branch card is another one I really liked. Thank you for sharing!

  2. What fun and festive cards! Your color scheme is gorgeous and the embossing folder makes quite a statement.

  3. Loving the color choose for this card, will try this idea with my new embossing folder…

  4. The vibrant colors simply make me happy and brave to take on the the challenge to mimic this card and make it my own!

  5. Super cute cards! Love the color combos. Got my Value kit & cannot wait to start using them. Thanks for the inspo!

  6. Beautiful cards. The contrasting card colours on the banner give the appearance of incredible dimension. It’s a very clever technique and the cards look amazing 🤩

  7. Another lovely card Sandi – you have worked wonders (again!) with this month’s kits. Love the new layout and versatility with the dies that you have shown.

  8. This is an absolutely stunning card! I’m going to use your card as inspiration for a few cards.
