Hi cardies and welcome back. Today’s project is created with the Spellbinders November Glimmer of the Month Club kit. You know it’s one of my favorites each month and November is no exception. I have been having a blast creating another batch of Christmas Cards with these fabulous glimmer plates.
This month the kit consists of the large ornament plate that spells out the word “Merry” across the top, plus a die cut for across the bottom, along with three sentiment plates.
I think it came with a roll of copper foil if I remember, but I wanted to use gold with the pinks and blues I chose.
I jumped into my scrap bin for some thin pieces of blues and pinks for this card and attached them to the card front before adding the overlay of the MERRY.
When I was all done, the top looked a little naked all in white, with so many pretty colors at the bottom, so I grabbed the branch and star dies from the Small Die of the Month Kit for November and added those across the top – just what it needed.
You could also color the ornaments with Copics for added color as Yana has done below, or foil them on colored card, as you can see peeking in from the top right.\ in the image above
There are a variety of different ways to join the Spellbinders November Glimmer of the Month Club:

A GLIMMER Hot Foil MACHINE is required to use these plates and Spellbinders has all kinds of other plates to use in the foil machine as well. You can see the selection here:

Just beautiful Sandi! Love the foiling! Such pretty colors and designs! 🙂
Sandi, this is a very attractive card with the mixed color combination!
Kind of reminds me of the colors from ornaments of my childhood.
Retro?
I love it!
Thanks for your inspiration.
