Spellbinders Radiant Burst NEW Embossing Folder

Hi card making friends and welcome back.  Today I’m sharing a Mini Slimline card created with the Spellbinders Radiant Burst NEW Embossing Folder.  This is the April release folder and called Radiant Burst and it’s a beauty as you will see below.

I must apologize for the lateness of this post, I slept in this morning which I never do. Then there were so many new sales for this weekend I spent a long time updated my Paper Crafting Sales Page  with all the new deals.  CHECK THEM OUT HERE – and don’t forget to subscribe to receive my Crafty Sales Email each week.

On to today’s card which as I said is created with the April Embossing Folder of the month.  Spellbinders has come out with a NEW size of embossing folder and I just love it.  It’s big enough to create a card front in 4 different card sizes.

As part of the Spellbinders Monthly Kits, there is now a NEW Embossing Folder each month as well.  You can buy them individually, or subscribe to have it automatically mailed to you each month with your favorite SPELLBINDERS MONTHLY CLUBS.

Spellbinders Embossing Folders

The NEW EMBOSSING FOLDERS (shown behind the Slimline card front) are approximately 5-1/2 x 8-3/4 allowing you to emboss four of the popular sizes for card fronts.  The Mini Slimline, the Full Slimline, the 5 x 7  and the A2 measuring 4-1/2 x 5-1/2.

Spellbinders has a growing selection of these Embossing Folders adding to the selection monthly.  They are a great price point for your crafting needs and very versatile.

How to create the Spellbinders Radiant Burst NEW Embossing Folder Mini Slimline Card

Start with a white card base 7 x 6.5″ – score and fold at 3-1/2 to create the card base.

Next, add a card front in Silver Fox measuring 3-1/2 x 6-1/2

Cut a piece of white 3-1/4 x 6-1/4 and place it into the Radiant Burse Embossing Folder and run it through the  die cutting machine.

Finally, attach it to the card front.

Use the Yana’s Sentiments Glimmer plates to gold heat foil a sentiment onto black card stock and cut out with the coordinating dies.

Attach that to a white die cut circle for the center of the burst.

Use the floral dies from the April Large die of the Month Club Kit “Say Cheese” to embellish the card front.

Finally – add some Aquamarine Essential Gems for some bling.
