Hey Paper crafting friends. I’m back (albeit slowly), with a fun card to share with you, the Spellbinders Say Cheese Camera Card. This is the Large die of the Month Kit from Spellbinders for April and it’s fabulous. Not only do the dies cut like butter, they are designed to create a big bold camera and they even include beautiful floral dies to embellish your card, or use on a completely different card.
How to create the Spellbinders Say Cheese Camera Card:
Use spellbinders cardstock as it comes in 3 shades of the same color making it effortless to add depth in layers to your die cutting.
Today’s card uses Teal Topaz, Waterfall, Saffron, Persimmon, Rain Forest, black and white. Use Silver Mirror card for the flash, shudder and handle clamps.
Cut all the pieces and glue them together adding foam squares between the main pieces for depth of field.
Cut a card front 4-1/2 x 6-1/2, place into the April Embossing Folder of the Month, Radiant Burst and run through the die cutting machine.
Layering the Card Base:
I like white card bases so I cut the card base 7 x 10, scored and folded at 5.
Next, cut a piece of the blue cardstock 5 x 7 and mount that to the card front before attaching the white embossed piece.
This saves on the colored cardstock and gives you a white inside for writing.
Finally, add your playful camera, again with foam squares for some added depth.
