Spellbinders Simply Perfect Cards

Hey cardmaking friends welcome back.  Today I have a two more Spellbinders Simply Perfect Cards to share with you.  These are the same dies used on the Flowering Slimline Card I shared a couple of days ago here.

The Simply Perfect Layered Blooms and Simply Perfect Mix and Match Sentiments Dies are beautiful and so fun to create with.

We also have the addition of the Simply Perfect Florets Embossing Folder for the fabulous embossed backgrounds on today’s cards.

These products are from SPELLBINDERS (some items are sold out) and are currently on sale over at Scrapbook.com just in case you want a few dollars off.  They are also available at Simon Says Stamp and I have linked them all at the bottom of this post for you.

To make these cards I first die cut a bunch of different colors and shapes with the Simply Perfect Layered Blooms die set and then layered and glued them together.

Next I embossed two backgrounds and then sat and auditioned the floral arrangements until I was happy.

Spellbinders Simply Perfect Cards – Card #1 Details:

Glue the embossed card front to the top folding A2 sized white card base.

Next, add the greenery at the top.  I added the pink floral with a foam square making it easy to tuck the other pieces underneath and secured them with white glue.

I used Mirror Gold card stock to die cut the Simply Perfect Mix & Match Sentiments and again attached it with the white glue.

Finally, I embellished with a few of the Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems

Card #2

Has a second layer to it.  I got out my Spellbinders Glimmer machine and gold glimmered the Scalloped Rectangles.  I used the third from the largest and trimmed it close before attaching to the card front.  This is also an A2 card base.

This time I selected blues and purples for my color palette and glued them in as I went.

The sentiment is again cut from Mirror Gold and finally, some Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems for a little added bling.
