Spellbinders Stylized Lattice Valentine Card | BLOG HOP & Give Away

Hi card-making friends and welcome back.  Today I have a Spellbinders Stylized Lattice Valentine Card to share with you.  And welcome to the Spellbinders January 2025 Club BLOG HOP and Give Away.

I wanted to do something entirely different for this hop.  This card is created with the Deluxe Caboodle Club Kits for January.  The Stylized Lattice 3D Embossing Folder,  is my main ingredient for my card.  I LOVE the intricate details in this amazing folder and had to use it one more time.  I also used the leaves that create the heart are from the Large Die of the Month Club, the hugs sentiment is from the Clear Stamp and Die of the Month and the Wax seal, is Floral Jewel, Wax Seal Club.

Affiliate links are used throughout this post at no additional cost to you.  This allows me to keep bringing you content.  I appreciate your support.

How to create the Spellbinders Stylized Lattice Valentine Card

Start by cutting a Mint colored card front 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and emboss it with the 3D Stylized Lattice Embossing Folder.

Next, using the Stitched Rectangle Wafer Dies, cut a gold frame and glue it around the outside edge.

Then, Using the Botanical Atrium Large Die of the Month, and in particular, the leaf stem, cut this numerous times from a 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ piece of white cardstock until you have enough leaves and branches to create the heart.  Lay it out on your work surface and then use a piece of press and seal to pick it up and turn it over.  Add foam squares to the back and then attach it to the center of the card front.

Add the sentiment and the wax Seal

White emboss the sentiment onto a piece of the matte gold cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating dies.  Cut two more from white cardstock and stack them for some additional height.  Attach to the center of the heart with foam squares.

Next, using the wax seal kit, melt 5 squares of the Glow in The Dark white wax, and impress the Floral Jewel seal into it.  Once cool, remove the seal and color the rose with the gold pen.  use Bearly Art Glue to attach the seal to the right side of the heart.

Finally, mount to a top folding, A2 sized white card base.  5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score and fold at 4-1/4″.

Changing out the sentiment, this would also make a beautiful Wedding card.
