Spellbinders The Right Words Collection

Hi card making friends, thanks for stopping by.  Today I’m sharing a couple of cards created with the Spellbinders The Right Words Collection designed by Becca Feeken.  This is a New Release and the set has some great background dies and sentiments which combined makes the prettiest cards.

I have linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post. If you find value in my posts and free PDF downloads, you can support my artistic journey by using the Compensated affiliate links at no cost to you.  As always, I appreciate your support.

Spellbinders The Right Words Collection:

First off, use the Thank You For Your Kindness long die cut twice in Portobello and attached to a3-3/4 x 6-3/4 white card base to create the background panel.

Mount that to a 3-7/8 x 6-7/8 Poppy Field mat and then a side folding card base measuring 8-1/2 x 7-1/4, score and fold at 4-1/4

Then, add a gold center cut panel using the Happy Occasions Word Etched dies.

Finally, cut a circle using the Fluted Classic Circles.

Adding the Embellishments and Sentiments:

Start by die cutting the florals with the Butterfly Card Creator Die set.

Next, Die cut the sentiments in mirror gold from the Thank you For Your Kindness Die set.

Attach them with white glue to complete the card.

Spellbinders, The Right Words Collection Card 2

I have been playing with my color wheel and for this card I thought I would try using the Triad colors.  I set my main color as the dark blue and the triad gave me the wide range of yellows and oranges to choose from along with yellow green.

Start by die cutting a card front panel using the long die from You’re Amazing

Then, use a blending brush to cover it with Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide Ink

Finally, add a center blue panel cut with the Merry Everything Die set.

Adding the Embellishments and Sentiments:

First die cut the florals using the Be Bold Blooms Etched Dies and card stock in Terra Cotta, Persimmon, Saffron, Peridot and Rainforest.

Then, attach it to the card front using foam squares and white glue.

Finally, die cut the sentiments:  The large one from Cosmic Sky, cutting it three times and layering.  I’m in LOVE with that big swoopy font on this one. The small one three times in Saffron and layering it.

If you are looking  for sentiment dies, these sets are it, they pretty much cover all events and cut beautifully.
