I’m kicking things off with my current favorite from the release, the Stripped Die #czd288. I love striped cards, even though I don’t seem to make them nearly enough. This die is going to fix that! It cuts a whole bunch of different-width strips in a single pass, making it quick and easy to create multiple cards at once – perfect for batch-making or playing with color combos.
For today’s project, I paired it with another favorite: last month’s Merry Cover Die, along with the adorable Wrapped in Scarves stamp set. If you’ve been following me for a while, you might remember the Landscape Stair Step Card I created with this set last week – you can find that post here.

Supplies used for today’s Striped Merry Die-Cut Christmas Card:

How to create the Striped Merry Die Cut Christmas Card:
Start by creating a top-folding A2-sized white card base.
Next, cut a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece from a Simon Says Stamp Tear-rific Adhesive Sheets (doubled sided adhesive). Peel off the protective backing from one side and place it sticky-side up on a Pawsitively Perfect Craft Tacky Mat (I like the 7 x 7 size).
PRO-TIP: Setting the adhesive sheet on the Tacky Mat keeps it perfectly in place so it won’t curl or grab onto your fingers while you work.
Next, use the Striped Die, to die cut a variety of cardstock colors. Sort them into piles then work your way across the adhesive sheet, laying down the colors in a clean grid pattern. Once complete, gently life the finished panel from the Tacky Mat, remove the remaining protective backing, adn adhere the striped panel tot he front of your card base.

Next, die cut the MERRY cover die from white cardstock and adhere it over the striped card front.
Finally, color the adorable sledding snowman to coordinate with your chosen palette, die cut him, and attach him to the bottom right corner of the card using foam squares for a bit of dimension.

I created a second panel in a fresh color palette to change things up a bit. I also colored the other snowman from the Wrapped in Scarves Stamp and Die Set to give you an idea of an alternative color combo you might enjoy.
