Have you ever had a card idea floating around in your head for months before finally sitting down to make it? That’s the story behind this card! A couple of months ago, a Facebook ad tempted me with the most adorable pumpkin T-shirt–nine little pumpkins lined up, each with different details. I LOVED it!
I didn’t have a pumpkin die small enough, so I ordered the Autumn Arrangement Die Set from Simon Says Stamp. Turns out, it’s the perfect size! Then off I went, dumpster diving through my years of patterned paper to find just the right pieces. A few embellishments, a little splatter, some embossing, and viola–my Thankful for you Die Cut Thanksgiving Card!.
Did you notice there is no separate sentiment? There’s actually one hiding in plain sight! The middle pumpkin in the bottom row repeats the words “thankful for you.” That paper is from the Doodlebug Design In. Farmhouse 6 x 6 Paper Pad, if you happen to have it in your stash. If not, I linked a Simon Says Background stamp below. You can stamp this on white cardstock, and then cut out your pumpkin

Products used for the Die Cut Thanksgiving Card:
- Autumn Arrangement Die Set
- Pine & Post Gift Card Envelope Die Set (stars)
- Wooden Planks Embossing Folder
- Blue Spruce and Black Cardstock

How to create the Die Cut Thanksgiving Card:
Once you’ve chosen your patterned paper pieces, this card comes together quickly!
- Cut 4″ x 4″ panel of Blue Spruce cardstock and emboss with the Wooden Planks Embossing Folder. Place it inside a splat box and splatter it with black and white paint. Allow to dry
- Adhere the embossed panel to a 4.5″ x 4.5″ black cardstock panel.
- Cut a second panel of Blue Spruce cardstock 5″ x 5″ and adhere it to the front of a top-folding 5″ square white card base. Attach the matted embossed panel with foam squares.
- Die-cut nine pumpkins from your chosen patterned papers and embellish them as desired. Use foam squares to attach them to the card front in three rows of three
NOTE: The stars were cut using the die from the Pine & Post Gift Card Envelope Die Set.
This design–or a smaller version–would also make adorable place cards for Thanksgiving Dinner.
