Top 9 Cards from 2024

In the card-making world, many of us use an app called TOP NINE to go through our Instagram feeds and pick the Top 9 Cards from 2024. It’s always fun to see which cards make it, and they are chosen by how many comments and likes friends and followers leave on the post. If you are not following me on Instagram, you can here.

I thought it would be fun to break this list down and add some links to these nine cards and why I like them.

I’m going to start with #9 and work my way up to the top.

#9 – Top 9 Cards from 2024 – Spellbinders Tropical Friends

You can view this post here.  I have always loved parrots and toucans, so when I opened the May 2024 club kits from Spellbinders, I squealed, LOL.  So much fun and the Scattered Tropics Embossing Folder was the perfect backdrop for these die cut cuties.

#8 – Top 9 cards from 2024 – Arching Leaf Christmas Cards

View this post here:  I immediately fell in love with this Arching Leaf Die set from Simon Says Stamp.  With a combination of Lindy’s Magicals on watercolor paper and some soft Ink blending in the background, I created these pretty (and very simple) Christmas cards.

#7 – Top 9 Cards from 2024 – Spellbinders Stitched Die of the Month April 2024.

View this post here:  In 2024 I returned to cross stitching after 30 years away.  It is so wonderful and has really filled my evenings with a serene calm.  So it’s no surprise that I LOVE the monthly stitching club kits from Spellbinders….And my readers do too.  This one was easy and fun to stitch.

#6 – Top 9 cards from 2024 – Spellbinders September 3D Embossing Folder, Pumpkin Patch.

View this post here:  It’s no secret, I have a love of bold colors and when this Pumpkin Patch Embossing Folder arrived, I had some fun.  This Halloween season I decided to embrace some non-traditional colors and I really dug in with these, haha…pink pumpkins – yes please.

#5 – Top 9 cards from 2024 – Bayfield Collection, Floral Spray Etched Dies

View this post here:  –  It’s amazing what you can accomplish with 1 die.  Ok 2, the sentiment is also a die, haha….and a beautiful embossed background.  This is probably my favorite card from 2024 and I’m so happy you liked it too.

#4 Top 9 Cards from 2024 – Pinecones and Berries Embossing Folder | Christmas in July.

View this post here:  July was my favorite month for clubs because I love to make Christmas cards.  This card featured the Embossing Folder of the Month, Pinecones and Berries, and also the small die of the month with the beautiful poinsettia die and foliage.

#3 Top 9 cards from 2024 – Ho Ho Ho

View this post here:  You all really liked my Ho Ho Ho card as it was one of the last cards I made in 2024, and it still ended up as #3.  October clubs presented an adorable Pajama Pants die set which included this adorable reindeer head….so I just had to.  The black embossed background really highlighted the die cutting.

#1 Top 9 cards from 2024 – Is actually 3 cards, – Spellbinders Copperplate Sentiments.

View this post here:  The Copperplate Sentiments created by Paul Antonio are a collection of BetterPress plates, which as you know, you can also foil with….I coupled them with my All-Time favorite Spellbinders die set, Be Bold Etched Dies, and a new color combination.  Fresh and bright, these were a delight to make.
