Tricks & Treats Cupcake Card

Hey card making friends.  The STAMPtember release for tonight is BRUTUS MONROE – and I have a Tricks & Treats Cupcake Card to share with you.  This is such a fun stamp set, covering many occasions.  As Halloween is just around the corner, I figured why not, and boy I had fun with it.

How to create the Tricks & Treats Cupcake Card:

Start by stamping the images in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black onto Hammermill White cardstock.  They all fit on a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece.

Next, use copic markers to color the images and then die cut them out.  I had to do the drippy one in green slime, haha

Copic Colors Used:
Green:  YG03, YG17, Yellow:  Y15, Y19, Orange:  YR04, YR07, Brown:  E31, E35, E37, Purple:  V12, V15, V17, Teal:  BG11, BG13, BG49, Gray:  No, N1, N2, N3 and Pink:  R81, R83

Then, Gold heat emboss the sentiment at the bottom of a black 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card front.  Attach a strip of black and white pattern paper down the right side (Gina K Petite Patterns).

Tricks & Treats Cupcake Card – putting it all together.

Start by using foam squares on the back of the cupcake base and mounting it to the card front above the sentiment.

Next, add the top of the cupcake, allowing a bit of the “cake” to show.

Then, add the lollipop and pumpkin.

Finally, use Glossy Accents to highlight the lollipop, the candies and the green slime on the cupcake top.
