Hey card making friends, welcome back. Today I have a Wise Owl Die Cut Card to share with you. It’s the new Small Die of the Month Club from Spellbinders and it’s so adorable. He is actually quite big, so the pieces are easy to glue together to create him and I love his “Harry Potter” glasses, haha. so I’m pretending he is Hedwig, LOL Most of all, I love the dies that cut out the books my little owl is perched on. They are so fun to make.

I can tell already this is going to be a fun club month. There is a storybook theme going on, so imagination abounds. Let’s jump right in to today’s fun project.
How to create the Wise Owl Die Cut Card
Start with a top folding A2 sized white card base.
Next, cut a piece of Waterfall card stock 4″ x 5-1/4″, spritz with water before placing inside the Checked Scallops March Embossing folder (LOVE this fun design). Once embossed and dry, attach it to the front of the card.
Then die cut all the pieces for the owl and books and glue them together.

Finally mount them to the card front using foam squares to add depth and interest. White emboss a sentiment onto a scrap of black cardstock from the Story Time Gnomes Clear Stamp and Die set (also for March) and attach to the top of the card.
Embellish with Color Essential Gems in Aquamarine and Spectrum AB
