Each month we will be focusing on a special brand or company that we all love and this month ——-it’s
No surprise, there right? haha, we ALL LOVE this company so hop along with us for some fabulous inspiration and a HUGE thank you to Angie Backman of Concord & 9th for giving us a special 20% OFF shopping code for you all to use to celebrate our hop.
I’m just a little bit infatuated with the Concord & 9th Turnabout stamps right now so I decided to use the Butterfly Love Bundle as I just received it and it’s STUNNING.
Usually I use a few colors to create these amazing backgrounds but today, I’m going to show you how I did a tone on tone with a Gold Highlight and broke a very basic stamping rule.
I’m using Gina K Blue Lagoon ink and card stock with Mirror Gold highlights and Gold Embossing powder from Nuvo for my project.
You will also require a Misti and the Turnabout Jig for this technique, and check out the video below for a step by step on how this was created.
Did you see which rule I broke yet? I didn’t completely dry my stamping before I did the embossing step, but I did it on purpose, because I wanted the “distressed” look of the powder on my other images.
I have linked the video below for you, along with a FREE PDF File for today’s project, but first, please hop along and visit my amazing talented friends. Your next stop is Sweet Sue Plot and if you get lost along the way, here is a list of participants:
