SSS Feb Cardmaking Kit

Hello my papercrafting friends. Today I’m sharing SSS Feb Cardmaking Kit and a very Special Simon Says Stamp Anniversary Sale.

The Kit got hung up in the Christmas mail and just arrived last week, and then my life was crazy for a week and I just today got to sit down and create with it and it’s FABULOUS.

There are three outline images in the stamp set, hearts, balloons and these lovely flowers. You can use the SSS Tri-Square Wafer Thin Die to cut out the center and the My Favorite Things Square Shaker Trio Pouch to make a shaker card, or use some of the smaller sentiments in the stamp set. I decided to cut card stock to cover it, add a die cut sentiment to the center and use the frame as a border around it.

I colored the frame image with my copics (listed in the PDF below for you), before attaching it to a SSS Surf Blue card base.

Instructions for the SSS Feb Cardmaking Kit Blue Floral card:

I used the I LOVE YOU dies from Simon says stamp. Cut the sentiment and the shadow from white card and used the same copics to color the sentiment.
Before attaching it, I used the small single leaf image and SSS Fog Ink to stamp a little “background noise”
I also did that on the main image with the 5 leaf stamp, also in Fog Ink. I think it adds depth to the image and more interest.
Finally, Check out the Nuvo Water Droplets Pale Sheen Gemstones I used to embellish. They came in the kit, and I want more, haha
