Honey Bee Stamps Farm Fresh Flowers Set

Honey Bee FARM FRESH FLOWERS Clear Stamp Set ( SSS | SBC | HNB )
Honey Bee FARM FRESH FLOWERS Dies ( SSS | SBC | HNB )

This set is called Farm Fresh Flowers.  Great floral image and three different vessels to place them in.   I’ve got three different ways to use these stamps for you today

Honey Bee Stamps Farm Fresh Flowers Card #1 – Copics

Start the card front with a stitched die border attached to the card base.

White Heat emboss the Buffalo Plaid Background Stamp onto white card and blend Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass ink over it for a pretty plaid background.  Trim down to 3-3/4 x 5 and attach

Use the Misti Stamping Platform to stamp the floral and milk can onto Hammermill 100# card***

Color the images with Copic Markers and die cut with the coordinating dies.

  • The leaf colors got cut out of the picture, they are:
  • G21, G94 and G99 for the dark ones
  • YG03, &G17 and &G67 for the brighter ones
  • and the yellow is Y15

Stamp and color a couple of additional flowers, and the tin label on the milk to add dimension.

White heat emboss a sentiment onto a scrap of black card.

Card #2 – Masking Technique

Honey Bee Stamps Farm Fresh Flowers

Stamp the images onto Masking paper and cut them out cutting off the outside black line.

Place the Hammermill card into the Misti Stamping Platform and stamp the floral image in Gina K Designs Amalgam Black Ink

Mask the florals and stamp the vase.

Leave the floral mask on and stamp the stems of the flowers inside the vase.

Color the image with copics before mounting it to a black mat.  I used the Pointillist Technique on the big daisy and the vase, (the dots), this adds a playful element to the coloring.

Stamp the floral image around the card front with VersaMark Ink to add a bit of background noise.

Embellish with the beautiful new Succulent Garden Confetti Mix Sequins

Because of the masking, this is a flat card, so I added depth by attaching Foam to the back of the art piece before attaching it to the card base.

Card #3 Anti Coloring

Sometimes you have a beautiful floral image like this and you don’t feel like coloring it…..that’s ok.  They still make beautiful cards.  I’m taking the Spring Card Camp #2 Online Card Class with Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner and one of the lessons had this card idea.

The card front is Gina K Designs Peach Bellini card stock.  I stamped the partial image in Gina K Designs Sweet Mango.  Next stamp the image in black on white card 3 times and cut out.

trim to fit the card and attach with foam tape for height.  Add a bold sentiment and you are done.  A beautiful card full of flowers.  thanks to Julie Ebersols for this great idea.

PS, that class if fabulous by the way.

***  Premium Color Copy Cover Paper

A friend just attended a new Copic Marker class and sent me a couple pieces of the Hammermill Paper because it’s now what is recommended for Copics.

I know, I have taken all the Copic Classes and they have always recommended Neenah.  Do yourself a favor, and order some Hammermill.  It’s whiter, it’s cheaper, it’s amazing to work with and if you have Amazon Prime, you get free shipping.

I ordered the 100 lb – 250 piece ream.  You can use it for your coloring and it makes nice sturdy card bases too.
