Hey card making friends hope you had a great long weekend and your enjoying the final few days of summer. As I watch the leaves change around here with the cooler weather I decided to use some of the colors to create this Masculine Tender Leaves Card. I also didn’t have a lot of time, so this entire card is die cut and only took about 20 minutes.

Copper has always been one of my favorite fall colors so I made it the spotlight of today’s card with the die cut center Birthday Wishes Die.
The sky is not as bright a blue these days and yellow is sneaking into the leaves, I considered a watercolor wash for the background using those colors. Then I remembered the Kaisercraft Antiquites 6 x 6 pack that had this beauty in it and thought “PERFECT”. It has the color and texture I want without all the work. Sadly, while posting this, I realize this paper is sold out, but THIS PAPER has a great faded wood painted background that would be perfect
Die cut the Tender Leaves die a bunch of times until you have enough to go around the Kraft colored circle I placed behind the sentiment.
Secure the leaves with small pieces of foam tape to add dimension to the card.
For some added detail, cut two of the bigger leaves out of Vellum and pop them in behind the white leaves.
Finally I embellished with a few copper sequins from the Sunken Treasure Sequins mix from Simon.
