Spellbinders Holiday Gnomes

Hey crafty friends, have you been thinking about starting your Christmas cardmaking? I decided to get ahead of the curve this year. I know, what is this sorcery you ask? haha. Well, Spellbinders Holiday Gnomes stamp set did it to me.

I couldn’t resist these sweet little gnomes as I seem to be on a gnome thing this month too…..so here you go, two Christmas Gnome Holiday cards for you.

We had our house listed for sale and in the middle of a move last year, so I didn’t get any cards sent out, I am determined to get them sent out this year, so stamp along with me and we will all get our cards done on time.

Spellbinders Holiday Gnomes Stamp Set

Sweet little stamp set with 3 gnomes, some background images and sentiments. Perfect, everything in one stamp set.

I’ve add PDF’s below for each card so I’m not going to go into great detail.

The images are colored in copic markers and are listed in the PDF’s, you could also do colored pencils, zig markers etc.

The greenery is from a new Die Set that goes Live today at Spellbinders called Christmas Blooms and I’ll have a couple of cards done with that set shortly as well.

Blue and Red Holiday Gnome Card:

White heat emboss the trees and star and then sponge on Distress Oxide Inks in Peacock Feather and Tumbled Glass to create the background.

Next, Die cut a hill using the April Glimmer of the Month set, Curved Glimmer Border and Sentiment.

Color the gnome and the holly and cut out.

Finally, White heat emboss the sentiment onto red.

Red and Kraft Woodsy Gnomes Card:

I decided these guys were a little woodsy so maybe some craft and red plaid eh!.

Start by embossing the card base with the Plaid Company Embossing Folder

Next, Die cut the Kraft piece with the Large Hexagon die in the Candlewick Rectangles Die set and then emboss it with the Tiny Dots Embossing Folder

Cut a circle and stamp the sentiments using the Misti to position them

Stamp, color and cut out the gnomes.

Finally, add some greenery and Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems.
