Yay You Slimline Cards

Hi card making friends.  I’m so excited to share this NEW release from Simon Says Stamps called Yay You.  It goes live tonight with all kinds of fun new products.  I have created two Yay You SLIMLINE CARDS to share with you tonight showcasing two of the new products.  Make sure you come back on May 13th for the Yay You New Release BLOG HOP full of all kinds of inspiration using these fabulous new products and of course prizes and discounts too.

Yay You Slimline Card #1

The first card is created with the new YAY YOU Sentiment Stamp set.  This is an 6 x 8 full size stamp set with large and small fonts covering pretty much every celebration you could think of.

Stamp the Mother’s Day Tulips stamp on the right side of the white art piece cut at 3 x 8″ and color with copic markers.

Next, using the Misti, stamp the sentiments at the top.

Secure the cello shaker cover on three sides of the art piece and shake in some Flowering Clover Sequins before sealing up the final side.

Attach this to a side folding white slimline card base with a pink card front attached to it.

Yay You Slimline Card #2

Use the Stripes 2 dies from Simon Says Stamp and cut up a bunch of card stock scrap into stripes

Next, use a two sided piece of adhesive to secure the stripes to a white card base.

Cut down to 3 x 8″ and attach to a side folding white slimline card base measuring 3-1/2 x 8-1/2.

Die cut the NEW YOU DID IT sentiment dies in black and then white for the shadow base.

Finally, attach to the center of the card with foam squares to add dimension.
