Hey card making friends welcome back. A bit ago I shared a card with a stenciled background and got quite a few requests for a video so here you go. Today’s share is the New Video layered Stencil Backgrounds. I used the Dimensional Cube Stencil from Simon Says Stamp AND IT’S BACK IN STOCK. the Stepped Back Blocks 3 step stencil is very similar and available as well.
In the video I create 3 backgrounds showing you different ways you can use this versatile stencil set. I’m sure there are a million more ways to use it but I was trying to keep my video under 20 minutes, LOL. I use the MISTY STICKY MATS to hold my cardstock and stencils in place – you will love them.
Next, I walk you through how I used Simon Says Stamp new Detailed Blending brushes to ink up the die cut florals I added to the cards.
Finally, a quick summary of putting the cards together.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure
I’m not going to go into a pile of detail on how to create the cards as it’s explained in the video and I have created a downloadable/printable PDF file for each of the cards as well for you.
