Hi card making friends. Hope you had a fabulous weekend and a great start to a new week too. Today I’m sharing Spellbinders Silhouette Balloon Greetings. This is the May Glimmer Hot Foil Club for May, and it’s very unique and cool. It has 3 different sentiment plates to foil with coordinating dies to cut them out, along with the two dies to cut out a BALLOON aperture around the foiled sentiment. This allows you to turn the card front into a SHAKER CARD. So very cool.

For today’s card I am carrying on my color theme for this month in Waterfall, Rainforest, Lilac Blossom and white.
How to create the Spellbinders Silhouette Balloon Greetings Card.
Start by foiling the sentiment near the center of the 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Waterfall cardstock card front in Opaque White Foil.
Next, use the coordinating word dies to cut the top and bottom of the sentiment.
Then, use the Balloon die pieces to complete the die cut out.
Finally, cut a piece of clear acrylic slightly smaller than the card front and glue it to the back side.
Creating the Shaker Card:
Start by turning the piece over and add foam strips around the balloon cut out.
Next, sprinkle in a sequin mix. I used Picket Fence Studios Birthday Candles Sequin Mix.
Then, remove the protect cover from the foam strips, and lay a white, top folding A2 sized card over the piece to create the back of the shaker card, and the actual card.
Finally, embellish with flowers and leaves die cut with the floral dies from the Large Die of the Month Kit – I shared a card made with this here.
Add some pearls to the flower centers and around the bouquets.
This month’s CLUB KITS are now open for ordering so pick up your favorites today before they sell out.

Thanks Lori, it’s another fabulous die set. If I had to buy these every month I would most definitely sign up for the $100. All club deal. It’s 50% OFF, and shipping is way cheaper than individual.
