Happy STAMPtember everyone, the month long stamping party over at Simon Says Stamp. I’m starting the month off by sharing the Easy Floral Whimsy 4 Layer Stencil Card Tutorial. It’s a 4 layer stencil that creates this beautiful floral wallpaper. My color choices are some of the NEW INK CUBES released this month as well. Finally, a new set of Happy Birthday Reverse Sentiments. I love these printed sentiments, all you have to do is cut them apart.

How to create the Easy Floral Whimsy 4 Layer Stencil Card

Start with a piece of Hammermill white cardstock 3-3/4″ x 5″. Secure it to the top of a 5.5″ x 8.5″ Waffle flower Grip Mat and work your way through the 4 stencils to create the wallpaper. Use the small blending brushes and the Ink Cube Holder with the new brown and orange inks.

TIP: Using the Grip Mat and the Corner Ink Cube Holder when stenciling frees up your hands and makes it super easy to get beautiful results.

Next, cut a piece of Smoke cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and attach it to the front of a A2 sized top folding white card base (4-1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5-1/2).

Then, add a piece of foam to the back of the art piece and attach to the center of the card.

Finally, cut apart the sentiments from the Reverse Birthday Wishes Sentiments and use foam squares to attach it to the card front.

Embellish with some gold rhinestones.
