Thanks so much for joining me today for Spellbinders Towering Blooms Die Cut Cards. This is the Large Die of the Month Club Kit for November and again, LOVELY. I LOVE these bold blooms. I combined them with the embossing folders for this month, done in black, so hey – you can’t see them, so take my word for it, haha. and the Clear Stamp and Die Set of the Month.

I was having so much fun cutting out these blooms I ended up with enough for two cards. They are very similar, just a few different elements and embossing folders.
With the exception of the flowers, all the pieces are cut from white cardstock and ink blended to color.
Distress Oxide Inks Used:
Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness, Pine Needles, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry and Abandoned Coral. Mustard Seed was used for the flower centers.
How to create the Towering Blooms Die Cut Cards – Card #1
Start by cutting the flowers from Pink Sand cardstock and all the other pieces from White Hammermill 100 lb cardstock.
Next, use blending brushes to add Picked Raspberry ink around the edges of the flowers, all three greens for the leaves, and the three pinks for the buds.
Then, cut a card front 4″ x 5-1/4″ inches from black cardstock, place inside the Criss Cross Motif 3D embossing folder and run through the die cutting machine. Attach to a white, A2 size top folding card base. 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″
Finally, use small foam squares to attach the florals to the card front. Gold heat emboss a sentiment from the Sending Sentiments stamp and die set and then splatter with gold paint.
How to create the Towering Blooms Die Cut Cards – Card #2
Start with all the same steps as card 1. This time, use the single flower leaf stem in the background.
Next, the black card front is embossed with the Meandering Floral Embossing Folder for November.
Finally, the remaining steps are all the same.
