Hi card making friends and welcome back. Today I’m sharing two cards created with the Alex Syberia Designs Midnight Blooms stamp and die set. This is part of the NEW release that went live last week. Unfortunately, I spent the week in bed with bronchitis, so I’m just circling back around to share them with you.
Thank you for all your emails and texts concerning my cold. I did make it to my Dr. who confirmed it was bronchitis. He gave me some antibiotics and couch syrup (the good stuff with Codeine), so I am on the mend. I’ll be working half days for a few days just so I continue to get rest and get better.

This beautiful set also has coordinating stencils which make it super easy to color and cut out. I used Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks for today’s cards. Each color has a light, medium and dark ink pad so it takes the guess work out of which colors to use to stencil layers. There is also a hot foil plate for the flowers which I also hope to circle back around to and play.

Finally, stamp the image onto another piece of white cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, stencil the color in using the above noted pink inks, and the leaves and stems in Celery, Limelicious and Pearfection. Cut out the flower and use small pieces of foam squares to attach it to the card front.

Both cards are gorgeous. I love the glitter strip on the first card; but the yellow is my favorite! The use of the glitter gel on the background and the cut out image on top of that. New idea to try! Thanks, Sandi! Glad you are feeling better and able to do some creating.
