More fun Altenew Cards

Hi card making friends.  I have a combined post today, More fun Altenew Cards.  I have a pile more cards that I made from the products that Altenew sent me so I’m combing them into one post.  And sorry the post is late today.   It’s -41 here today which is causing lots of problems in the house, LOL.  frozen windows and doors etc.  trying to get Bella to hurry while she is outside doing her “business”, and basically just trying to keep warm.

More fun Altenew Cards -How to create the Altenew Southern Magnolia Card.

Start by using a Misti to stamp the images numerous times in copic friendly ink onto hammermill white cardstock.

Next, color the images:  Copics Used:  Peach:  R20, R21, R22, R24, Green:  YG21, YG23, YG03, YG67.

Then, cut out the images with the coordinating dies.

Finally, create a A2 sized card base from white cardstock, 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″.  Next, add a card front using the negative of the New Altenew Zero Waste Field of Flowers Die.  Then use foam squares to attach the flowers and leaves.

Mega Blossom Layering Stencil Set – and NEW INKS

Products used:

Start by stenciling the mega blossom image onto a white card front cut at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ using the new Rose Petal Fresh Inks and Frosted Foliage Inks.

Next, fussy cut the image and set aside.

Then, ink blend the top left corner of a A2 white card base.  Then splatter with the inks used to stencil the rose.  Finally, add a thin strip of gold foil paper across the bottom.

Finally, stamp the sentiment in black at the top of the card and use foam squares to attach the floral at the bottom.

Truthfully, these pinks are not my favorites.  they are a bit too muted for me, color aside, very nice ink pads and the blend beautifully through a stencil.  I like that the ink pads are round, I like the screw on lid, and I like many of the other colors.

  1. Sandi, what beautiful cards with such a small stamp set. Your colors are so bright and cheerful that perhaps they can “warm” your spirit if not your body!

  2. These cards are gorgeous! It sounds as though you
have been really busy. I certainly don’t envy you the cold
weather! We are expecting -10 next week but that is nothing
    compared to =41!!!

  3. Hi, Sandy, I’m admiring your very pretty florals! What really caught my attention today is that -41 degrees temperature! I’m in southern Wisconsin and we’re looking at -teens or -twenties soon! And there’s the snow, of course. Take care!
