Hey card making friends, welcome back. Today I’m playing with some new die sets, Spellbinders More Fresh Picked – a new 3 set Bundle from Spellbinders . I loved series #1 so I jumped at the chance to create with this second go around of these lovely die sets. I’m also using a new card from my Color Cube for today’s colors, I hope you like them.
I created three cards today and the instructions for each are below.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.
Today’s card colors are using card #276 from the COLOR CUBE. I used Waterfall and Cosmic Sky as the two blues, for the Waterfall card stock, I blended some Distress Oxide Ink in Prize Ribbon to add shadow and depth. For the flowers, I didn’t have any cardstock in the orange colors so I created some. I cut the flowers from Pink Sand Cardstock and then ink blended Distress Oxide Inks in Abandoned Coral and Festive Berries. In two of the cards I also added a tiny bit of Mustard Seed Yellow just to brighten up the flowers a bit.

Spellbinders More Fresh Picked – Daisies – Card #1
Start with two pieces of Waterfall cardstock. For the card front cut it at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and mount to a top folding A2 sized white card base. Cut the second piece at 4″ x 5-1/4″, spritz with water before placing inside the Deco Holiday Embossing Folder and running through the Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine.
Next, using the Fresh Picked Daisies Die Set, cut the leaves from Cosmic Sky and attach them to the card front.
Then, cut the flowers from Pink Sand and blend Abandoned Coral and Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink. Use foam squares to attach them to the card. The flower centers are cut from brushed gold for the base and black for the overlay.
Finally, Die cut the sentiment from Serenade Sentiments in black and gold and attach.
Spellbinders More Fresh Picked Daisies Card #2
Use the Spellbinders More Fresh Picked Angel Trumpets die set. Colors and instructions for the second card are the same as card #1 except the colors are changed around. The Deco Holiday Embossing Folder was also used on all three cards to add additional interest to the background.
Next, cut the leaves from Waterfall card stock and ink blend the bottom of each leaf with Distress Oxide Ink – Broken China.
Finally, cut and color the flowers and attach with foam squares to add depth. Add the sentiment over the center of the card.
Spellbinders More Fresh Picked Daisies Card #3
Card #3 again is the same as cards 1 and 2 for card stock, ink blending and cutting. For this card use the new Spellbinders Vase Bouquet Etched Die Set.
For the flowers I added darker ink on some for a bit of a color variation. I didn’t use any yellow on these flowers.
The addition is the white vase cut from cardstock, spritzed and run through the Deco Holiday Embossing Folder to mirror the details in the background.
I also added some white dots to the flower centers using a #10 Sakura white gel pen.
Finally, use the Curved Everyday Sentiments Glimmer set to create the banner and attach it across the vase.
