Alex Syberia Designs Bouquet of Blessings

Welcome back card making friends.  Today I’m sharing two cards created with the Alex Syberia Designs Bouquet of Blessing stamp, die and stencil bundle.  This set is so fabulous, I adored creating with it.  My inspiration for today’s card came from a dress I saw on my current t.v. obsession, Bridgerton.  Do you watch?  I’m truly obsessed with it and trying to watch only 1 episode a day of the new season, LOL.

ANYWAY, the colors of light and dark aqua, with a gold overlay was where I went with this one.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.

Today’s cards are part of the Alex Syberia Designs May release and Instagram hop taking place over on IG, you can start the hop over on MY ACCOUNT, and don’t forget to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win some great prizes.

Giveaway Info:  Alex Syberia Designs is giving away a whole May release for one lucky winner, as well as $15. Gift cards for 3 additional winners.

Open internationally.  All winners will be drawn from comments left on the Instagram hop stops by Midnight EDT on May 23rd, 2024.  Winners will be announced on the Alex Syberia Designs Blog “Giveaway Winners” Page on May 24/24.

Alex Syberia Designs Bouquet of Blessings Hand Made Cards.

Both cards are created with Spellbinders Waterfall cardstock which is then ink blended with Simon Says Stamp Surf and Dusk ink.  The leaves are done in Sage and flower centers in Limelicious.  Starting with colored card stock cuts down on the amount of ink blending required to attain the colored background.

How to create the Alex Syberia Designs Bouquet of Blessings

Start with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of waterfall cardstock. Using blending brushes, add Surf and Dusk ink to darken the edges.

Next, once the piece is dry, stamp the floral image in VersaMark Ink, cover with gold embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat set.

Then, splatter with gold and white paint and set aside to dry before attaching to a top folding white A2 sized card bae 4-1/4″ x 11″ score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Creating the Flowers for the Alex Syberia Designs Bouquet of Blessings Hand made Cards

Start by stamping the flowers in VersaMark Ink onto white cardstock.  Cover with gold embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat set.

Next, using small blending brushes and the Bouquet of Blessings Stencils, add Surf and Dusk ink to each of the flowers and then Limelicious to the centers and for a small amount of highlight.  Use Sage for the leaves.

Then, use the coordinating dies to cut out the flower and then attach them to the card front.

Finally, gold emboss a sentiment to go on the card and embellish with some Teal Color Essential Gems.
