Hey card making friends, welcome back.  It’s time for another share, this time, the Altenew Playful Flowers Hand Made Cards from their Recent Release. This is a stunning set of florals which is lovely to color and I created a white embossed background with the beautiful Botanical Honeycomb Embossing Folder, also from this release.

For today’s card, I used my Misti to stamp the images with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink and then colored them with copic markers.

Flowers:  E00, E93, YR16, R14, Leaves:  E41, E43, E44, E47
Then I added a pile of white dots with a white gel pen.

I’m not sure where this color combo came from, I think perhaps over on Pinterest.  Have you been to Pinterest lately?  I hadn’t and it’s been fun getting reacquainted.  Come on over and FOLLOW ME ON PINTEREST

There are two sets of florals in this Playful Flowers LARGE stamp and die set and I enjoyed coloring both.  For the card on the right, I did chop of the leaves and realign them to fit my card.

How to create the Altenew Playful Flowers Hand Made Cards – card#1

Start by stamping the Altenew Playful Flowers image with copic friendly ink on a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Hammermill white cardstock.

Next, color with the above noted copic markers, or colors of your choice.  Once the ink is dry, add the dots with the white gel pen.

Then, cut the images out with the coordinating dies.

Finally.  cut another piece of white cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″, place inside the Botanical Honeycomb embossing Folder and emboss.  Attach to a top folding A2 sized white card base. 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Then attach the art piece and a sentiment.

How to create the Altenew Playful Flowers Hand Made Cards – card#2

Start by repeating all the steps in card #1, but with the other stamp.

Next, cut the card base.  It’s also a top folding A2 sized, but in the reverse size.  5-1/4″ x 8-1/2″, score and fold at 4-1/4″.
