Hey card making friends. Today I have a Skateboard Terry Masculine Card to share with you along with Roller Disco Dottie, LOL. Great names for these fun die sets from the New Out and About Collection from Spellbinders. This collection was created to work with the New PLATINUM SCOUT, and all the dies are small enough to fit. I can confirm that, because I have been playing with the Scout all week, and it’s now Available for Purchase through SPELLBINDERS
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.
I love this little Scout Die Cutting Machine. Spellbinders gifted it to me and I got to pick which color I would like. I couldn’t resists the Lilac Shimmer Color, it’s so pretty. I have a white and Gold Platinum 6, which may need to be replaced with the new Lilac one too haha.
Couple of reasons why I like the scout. It’s smaller, so a smaller footprint on my workspace, but still lots of room to add a pile of dies to cut at once. It folds up into a nice small unit when I’m not using it (which is never, LOL), and the replacement cutting plates are only $10. actually $9. if you buy the clear ones. So if you are in the market for a new die cutting machine – Check out the Platinum Family.
The Out and About Collection has 15 different die sets to choose from. Everything from dogs on skateboards, to gnomes and mushroom houses, there is something for everyone in this release. I have created quite a few cards from this release that I will be sharing with you over the next week or so and you can view the entire Out and About Release HERE.
Introducing Skateboard Terry the skateboarding Scottie dog and his buddy Roller Disco Dottie, the roller blading Dalmatian, LOL. How cute are these little guys, and perfect for the little men in your lives. I carried on the 70’s theme (or what I thought was the 70’s theme), with some black and white cardstock and primary colors.
Products used for today’s projects:
- New, Lilac Shimmer Platinum Scout
- Out and About Skateboard Terry
- Roller Disco Dottie
- Out and About Hello, Smile Die Set
- Happy Birthday Wishes Die Set
- Everlasting Circles Dies
- Paper Rose Black and White Plaid pattern paper
How to create the Skateboard Terry Masculine Card.
Start with a white card base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score and fold at 4-1/4″.
Next, cut a piece of the Gina K Petite Patterns Paper (retired, sorry) 4 – 1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and attach to the front of the card.
Then, die cut the Scottie dog, skateboard, sentiment etc. from scraps of cardstock. Cut a lime green circle big enough for the dog and board.
Finally, glue them all together and mount to the card using foam tape.
Embellish around the dog by cutting the wheels from silver mirror cardstock and popping out the center circle, to create the little washers.
How to create Roller Disco Dottie:
The card base measurements are the same as above, this time using Paper Rose Black and White Plaid paper.
Again, cutting all the elements and gluing them together before layering onto the card. Dottie is a bit bigger than Terry, so I had to go up one size for the circle die to fit her in.
Use the Happy Birthday Wishes die set to create the sentiment.

How fun are those cards?!? Love the cute puppies and the fun skating/skateboard images. 🙂
