Today, I’m sharing a Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms Celebration Card. The Be Bold Blooms is my favorite floral die set from Spellbinders. The set of 21 thin metal dies creates a fabulous spray of big and bold blooms! Use some or all of them; they go well with any project that calls for a wonderful floral motif.
I created this card to celebrate my friend Nicki Baxley, who has achieved 15,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel. We are celebrating with a fabulous Instagram hop and TONS of giveaways. Make sure you pop over to my Instagram Account and take the hop. Leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win a prize.

Die cutting is one of my most favorite ways to create a card and I used a boatload of Spellbinders dies for todays.
Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms Celebration Card:
Products used:
- Be Bold Blooms Etched Dies from Spellbinders
- Meandering Floral Embossing Folder – Spellbinders (retired – sorry)
- Smooth Lines Mix & Match Sentiments – Spellbinders
- Essential Arches Dies – Spellbinders
- Gold Mix Color Essential Gems – Spellbinders
- Gold Assortment Treasured Cardstock
- Bold Numbers from the Color Mix Collection
Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms Celebration Card: – Creating the card base and sentiments.
The card base is white and created by cutting two large arches from a piece of Hammermill White 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score the back down 1 inch, add adhesive above the score and attach the two pieces together to create a top folding arched card base.
Next, die cut one size smaller arch in Waterfall from a piece 4 – 1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Place it inside the Meandering Floral Embossing Folder and emboss it. Attach it to the card front.
Then, die cut the numbers twice from white cardstock and once from Gold Assortment Treasured card stock. Glue them together with the gold on top. Using foam squares, attach them to the center of the card.
Finally, use the Smooth Lines Mix and Match Die set to cut “congrats” out three times. Twice from white and once from the red cardstock. Glue them together and attach across the front of the numbers.
Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms Celebration Card: – Adding the florals.
Start by die cutting all the flowers and leaves. I used three shades of Bazzill pinky red cardstock and spellbinders Rainforest green.
Next, ink blend to add some depth. I used Distress Oxide Inks: Evergreen Bough and Festive Berries and a 0 sized brush from Waffle Flower.
Then, glue the pieces together, then add them down the left side of the card.
Finally, embellish with a spray of Gold Mix Color Essential Gems
