Hi friends,  Today I’m sharing Simon Says Stamp Eggstra’s Special Easter Card. This is a new Easter-themed 6 x 8 Stamp and Die set with an adorable selection of little round chicks. They are super easy to color and cut out, and there’s a fabulous selection of sentiments to go with them.

How to Create the Simon Says Stamp Eggstra Special Easter Card

Start by using Gina K Amalgam Black Ink (copic Friendly), to stamp the images onto Hammermill White cardstock. (My favorite for copic coloring).  Let the ink dry, or heat set it before starting to color.

Next, use Copic Markers – OLO, or your favorites to color the images.

COPIC MARKERS USED:

YELLOW:  Y11, Y13, Y15,   PINK (for cheeks and ears):  R81, R83, RV13, BLUE: B000, B01  TURQUOISE: BG11, BG13, VIOLET:  V12, V15, V17  PINKS:  RV10, RV21, RV14, R22.

Then, once you have finished coloring, die cut the images with the coordinating die set.

Stamp the sentiment in pink ink and die cut it out.

Finally, create a white A2 sized card base, 4-1/4″ x 11, score and fold at 5-1/2.  Then, cut another piece of white cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and emboss it with the Wavy Rays Embossing Folder before attaching it to the card base.

Use foam squares to attach the art pieces and the sentiment and then embellish with the Surf colored Pawsitively Dazzling Gems.
