Hey cardmaking friends! It’s the 6th of the month, which means NEW CLUBS from SPELLBINDERS. I’m kicking this off with Christmas in July, featuring the adorable Snow Much Fun Penguins, the Small Die of the Month for July.
These cute little downhill skiers are quick and easy to die-cut and assemble, making it a breeze to create this fun holiday card. Even the dies for the snowy hills are included!
My second card features the Festive Greetings 3D Embossing Folder, and I couldn’t resist adding another sledding penguin to complete the festive scene.
Scroll down for all the details on how to create both cards!

Products used for the Snow Much Fun Penguin Cards:
- Snow Much Fun – Small Die of the Month
- Cue the Merry Clear Stamp and Die
- Festive Greetings 3D Embossing Folder

Color Combination for today’s Snow Much Fun Penguins:
Penguins: Orchid, Lilac, Carrot, Black and White
Card Base: Waterfall and Teal Topaz for the Sentiment

How to Create the Snow Much Fun Penguin Card #1:
Start by trimming a panel of Waterfall cardstock to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and attach it to the front of a white, top-folding A2-sized card base. Use the hill dies included in the set to cut two snowy hills and adhere them across the bottom of the card front.
Die cut and assemble the penguins, then attach them to the hills using foam squares for dimension.
Decorate the sky with the die-cut snowflakes and the two-layer Let It Snow sentiment.
Finish the card with white paint splatter for falling snow, add Crystal Stickles along the edge of the snowy hills, and embellish the centers of the snowflakes with Spectrum AB Color Essential Gems.

How to Create the Snow Much Fun Penguin Card #2:
Trim a panel of Waterfall cardstock to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and emboss it with the Festive Greetings 3D Embossing Folder before attaching it to the front of a white top-folding A2-sized card base
Next, die-cut and assemble the penguin and attach him on an angle using foam squares.
Stamp the sentiment from Cue the Merry Clear Stamp and Die Club, and die-cut with the coordinating die. Attach it under the penguin.
Finish the card with white paint splatter for falling snow and some Spectrum AB Color Essential Gems.
