Hero Arts Star Wreath

Hey card making friends welcome back.  I have a NEW CARD MAKING VIDEO for you today the Hero Arts Star Wreath Card.  I used the Daniel Smith watercolor sample card that came in this months My Monthly Hero Kit to create this pretty watercolor background.  Then I had some fun with the new Star Wreath which is part of the Add on package for February…. What did I do to it?  check out the video.

The first thing I did when I got this kit was swatch the watercolor paint from the Daniel Smith Card then I made three backgrounds (which I show you in the video and will become future cards).

I had just enough of the pink/red/purple paint left over to create today’s background too.

Creating the Hero Arts Star Wreath Card.

I won’t go into much detail as it’s all in the video and the measurements are in the PDF tutorial at the bottom of this post.

Watercolor the background in the three colors.

Next, stamp and Heat emboss the star cluster three times.

Add Gold Splatter and then White Splatter.

Finally, forgive Sandi for saying hearts instead of stars three different times in the video.  LOL.  I’m working on a heart card on my other desk, and my brain is fried apparently, haha.

Adding the Sentiment:

In the Add On’s for this month you can chose the Dream Messages Sentiments.

Gold heat emboss them in White and Black because you can’t decide which color you want, haha – decide on black.

Finally, embellish with some gold stars and the Sands of Time Gem Mix
