Hey cardmaking friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend – it’s time to jump back into another week of creativity. I’m kicking things off with the Hero Arts You’re Golden stamp, die, and stencil combo. Don’t you just love a great set of layering stencils! I sure do! They take all the guesswork out of highlighting and shading, helping you achieve that polished, artistic look each time.
For today’s project, I couldn’t resist making two versions: one in cheery yellows (perfect for the “golden” vibe) and another in bold reds—because who doesn’t love the look of crisp apples on the trees, waiting for that first frost?

Products Used for the Hero Arts You’re Golden Cards:
- You’re Golden Stamp and Die Sentiment Set
- Apple Frame Die and Stencil
- Pawsitively Perfect White Splatter Medium

How to create the Hero Arts You’re Golden Card #1
- Die-Cut the Front Panel – Begin by die cutting the front panel and securing it to a protected work surface.
- Stencil the Design – Use the layered stencils to add ink-blended color to the panel.
- PRO-TIP: I used Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks because each color includes a light, medium, and dark pad, making layered stenciling effortless and beautifully blended.
- Create the Background – Cut a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of white cardstock. Ink blend Seafoam in the center and Ocean around the edges to create a soft backdrop. layer this behind the die-cut panel and adhere both to the front of a top-folding A2-sized white card base.
- Add Texture – Place the piece inside a splat box and generously splatter with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect White Splatter Medium for added interest.
- Embellish – Die cut the white flowers and yellow centers, assemble them, and adhere around the card using foam squares for dimension and a touch of height.

Hero Arts You’re Golden – Red Apple Card:
Instructions are exactly the same for card #2.
Here are the inks I used:
Butter, Zest, Honey – Aspen, Sage, Pine – Cabbage, Artichoke – Apple, Cranberry – and Seafoam and Ocean.
