Hi card-making friends, and welcome back. I’m back playing with more Alex Syberia Designs products today, and I have 2 Hoppy Easter and Spring Cards to share. The release came out on Good Friday last week, so it was a bit of a squeeze for Easter; however, this adorable Stamp and Die set has the sweetest little bunnies, so I had to make some Easter and Spring cards with it. It would also be perfect for spring birthday cards, too.

How to create the Hoppy Easter and Spring Cards – Card 1
For my first card I decided to create the postage theme – because hey, it’s all the rage right now and Alex has a great one in her die sets, with a coordinating stencil to make coloring in the backgrounds quick and easy.
Start by stamping the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto white Hammermill cardstock using a Misti. Then color them with copic markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
COPIC USED:
Yellow: Y11, Y15, Gray: No, N1, N2, N3, N4, Pinks: RV10, RV11, RV21, R22 Teal: BG11, BG13, BG49 Blue: BG00000 BG01, Purple V12, V15, Browns E31, E35.
Next, die-cut the postage panel from a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Hammermill cardstock. Then use the Postage Stencil to add Simon Says Stamp Inks in Sprout and Surf to create the background grass and sky.
Then, create an A2-sized white top-folding card base 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″. Attach a Spellbinders Waterfall card front 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
Finally, use liquid glue to attach the postage panel to the card front. Then, using small pieces of foam squares, attach all the bunnies and bits.
I LOVE that Alex includes little, tiny stamps that follow the theme of the stamp set. The little eggs, grass, flowers, and sunshine with matching dies are a quick and easy way to add so much interest to each stamp panel.
How to create the Hoppy Easter and Spring Cards – Card 2
Card #2 starts with a top-folding A2-sized white card base, 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″.
Next, cut a second piece 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the card front and use small blending brushes to add the Simon Says Stamp Sprout and Surf Ink across the front to create a little sky and grass on the background. Then attach with foam tape to the card base.
Next, stamp, color, and cut out the little bunnies. Dry fit them onto the card front and use their placement to add little sprigs of grass with Copic Marker YG03.
Then, use foam tape to attach the images across the front of the card. White heat emboss a sentiment onto a scrap of black cardstock and die-cut it out.
Finally, add highlights with a white gel pen.
