Hi card making friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I have a Mixed Media Beautiful Dove card to share with you. The Beautiful Dove die is a new item in the Simon Says Stamp Splendor release that just came out. It’s a beautiful and very detailed die that is super easy to put together. Once I had it all put together I thought to myself – “well, the background for this needs to be spectacular”, LOL. So, I got out all my toys and applied them all to one card front. LOL.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.
I started with a watercolor panel that I did with Lindy’s Magicals in Shabby Turbine Teal and Tibetan Poppy Teal. Next I went to town with all kinds of little bottles of goodness and some of my favorite stencils and just kept layering until I was happy.
How to create the Mixed Media Beautiful Dove Card.
Start by securing the watercolor panel to a protected work surface.
Next, lay down the Geometric Snowflake stencil and add Gina K Glitz Glitter Gel in Turquoise Sea with a palette knife.
Then, use the Tim Holtz Mosaic Layering Stencil and Hero Wax in Black.
PRO-TIP – let these dry between layers so they don’t get all mucked up.
Next, place the Simon Says Stamp Brush Stroke Stencil over the piece and use a bit of the Gold Hero Wax and then the Brutus Monroe Glitter Glaze in gold.
Then, splatter with white acrylic paint and gold paint.
Finally, once everything is dry, add to pieces of torn pattern paper to the bottom. I used Tonic Studios Black and Gold and the Essential Craft Papers Watercolors from my stash.
Mixed Media Beautiful Dove – Adding the sentiment.
Use the Simon Says Stamp Boho Celebrate die set in white and matte gold cardstock. Attach it across the bottom with foam squares to add some depth and then add the dove to the center top, also with foam squares.
There are also two blog hops on this weekend to celebrate the new SPLENDOR release. You can start them over on the SIMON SAYS STAMP BLOG.

The reason I ask for that specific info is the system that tracks the sales only gives us a dollar amount and company name, we do not know who made the sale.
