More Nautical Club Cards

Good morning, crafty friends.  I’m back with More Nautical Club Cards.  Today I’m playing with the Large Die of the Month, the Stencil of the Month, the Small Die of the Month, and the 3D embossing Folder, all rolled into two fun cards.  I’m having a blast with the nautical theme this month, and these adorable critters are so much fun to create.  I’m also carrying on my red, white and blue theme.

More Nautical Club Cards – Card #1

Start with a white A2-sized top-folding card base 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Next, cut another piece of white cardstock to 4″ x 5-1/4″. Ink blend it with Distress Oxide inks: Mermaid Lagoon, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass, and then emboss it with the Nautical Knots 3D Embossing folder.  Attach to the card front.

Then, cut out the pieces for the adorable salty walrus and his flag-flapping seagull buddy.  Glue them all together and attach them to the card front.

Finally, stamp and die cut a sentiment using the Clear Stamp and Die Set for the month, Anchor’s Away.

More Nautical Club Cards – Card #2

Again, start with a top-folding A2-sized white card base.

Next, cut another piece of white cardstock, 4″ x 5-1/4″, and place it on a sticky mat to stencil the Rolling Tide Stencil with the same Distress Oxide Inks as above.

Next, cut out all the pieces for the seagull from the Stitched Club.  Ink blend some gray onto his wing and tail tips and glue him together.

Then, use the Essential Arches to create two arches to frame him.  One in white, next step up in red.  Ink blend the white arch with the blue inks.

Finally, attach all the pieces to the card.  Die cut an anchor for embellishment and stamp and die-cut another sentiment from the Anchor’s Away Stamp and Die Set.
