and the next collab is: Simon Says Stamp and Gina K Shimmering Christmas Cards. Can I just say WOW about this stamp set? It’s absolutely beautiful, full of detail, and so versatile for a wide range of techniques.
When I create Christmas Cards, I tend to favor the easy-to-repeat designs that can be mass-produced. This stamp and die set is PERFECT for the Embossed Resist Technique, and I paired it with Ombre ink blending for added depth. In true Gina K fashion, I also layered my cardstock, adding a black mat to frame the art piece.

Products used for the Simon Says Stamp and Gina K Shimmering Christmas Cards:
- Shimmering Christmas Cards Stamp and Die Set
- Pawsitively Perfect White Splatter Medium
- White Embossing Powder
- Gina K Ink: Ocean Mist, Blue Lagoon and Tranquille Teal

How to create the Simon Says Stamp and Gina K Shimmering Christmas Cards:
NOTE: the instructions are the same for both cards.
Cardstock:
- 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Gina K Turquoise Sea cardstock
- 3-3/4″ x 5″ – Simon Says Stamp Black cardstock
- 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ white Hammermill cardstock

Start by placing the white panel into a Misti and white heat embossing the images. At the same time, white heat emboss the sentiments onto scraps of black cardstock.
Next, place the panel on a protected work surface and create an ombre ink blend with Ocean Mist, Blue Lagoon and Tranquille Teal Gina K Designs Inks. Once blended, use a dry cloth to gently buff the surface and remove any excess ink from the embossed images, allowing them to shine through.
Then, when the panel is completely dry, place it into a splat box and add snowy texture by splattering it with the Pawsitively Perfect White Splatter Medium.

Putting the cards together:
Adhere the art piece to the black mat, then add foam tape to the back for added depth.
Next, mount the Turquoise Sea card front to a top-folding white A2 sized card base, and attach the layered art piece on top.
Finish by embellishing with a few sparkling gems for the perfect touch of shine.
