Simon Says Stamp Bunny Blessings Easter Cards

Hi cardmaking friends and welcome back. Today I have three Simon Says Stamp Bunny Blessings Easter Cards to share with you today. Easter Blessings is an adorable bunny/spring stamp set released this month in the Beautiful You release. It also has a coordinating die set that makes cutting out your colored images a breeze.

The stamp set also includes sentiments for Easter and love, and by simply using a different sentiment, these could also be used for spring birthdays, baby showers, decorating gift boxes etc. I came up with a pile of ideas for this adorable set.

Creating the Simon Says Stamp Bunny Blessings Easter Cards:

I used the Misti stamping tool to stamp all the images in copic friendly black into onto Hammermill white card stock. I love hammermill because it’s the whitest card stock I have ever used and it works great with copics. (linked below for you).

Once all the images were colored I cut them out.

I die cut a mat for each card with the NEW Simon Says Stamp Chunky A2 Scalloped Rectangles (second largest).

I dry fit all my images onto the scalloped mat, inside my Misti so I knew where to stamp my sentiments.

Next, I removed them all from the Misti and glued them all in place and did any trimming I needed to do.

Finally, I added some pretty spring time patterned paper to my Simon Says Stamp precut card bases before attaching the scalloped art piece.

Using small pieces of foam square to mount the bunnies, eggs and other embellishments adds a bit of dimension to the card but not enough to require additional postage.

And, a white gel pen adds a bit of highlight to the images as well.

Blues: BG11, BG13, BG49

Greens: YG17, YG21, YG23

Pinks: RV10, RV30, RV55
