Hi card making friends and welcome back. Today I have 3 Spellbinders Autumn Cards to share with you. I’m finishing up the last 3 club kits for September, the Large Die of the Month, the Stencil of the Month and the Clear Stamp and Die of the Month. I did three totally different styles on these cards just to change things up a bit.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.
The clubs this month all have the Autumn Theme and it’s been fun changing up the colors. I have two more funky colored pumpkin cards for you, and the final one is more traditional colors, so let’s jump in shall we.
Products Used for Today’s Makes:
- Picture Perfect Autumn Large Die of the Month
- Autumn Chevron Embossing Folder
- Colorful Pumpkins Stencil of the Month
- Autumn Wishes Clear Stamp and Die of the Month
- Buffalo Plaid BetterPress Plate
Spellbinders Autumn Cards #1 – Clear Stamp and Die of the Month Set – September 2024.
Start with a 4-1/4″ x 5 – 1/2″ piece of white cardstock and using the Buffalo Plaid BetterPress Plate and Garnet Ink, press the piece. Cut it down to 3/12″ x 5″ and attach to a top folding A2 sized white card base. 4-1/4″ x 11″ score and fold at 5-1/2.
Next, using a copic friendly ink, I used Simon Says Stamp Intense Black, stamp the pumpkin garden image from the Autumn Wishes Clear Stamp and Die Set onto a piece of Hammermill cardstock, 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Heat set the ink to dry, and then color with copic markers.
Beige: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, Pinks: RV10, RV11, RV32, RV34, R85 Greens: G21, G94, G99, Yellows: Y11, Y15, Y19
Then, die cut the image with the coordinating dies and attach it to the bottom left corner of the card front with foam squares.
Finally, place the card into your Misti, and stamp the sentiment in black at the top of the Buffalo Plaid.
Spellbinders Autumn Cards #2 – Stencil of the Month Club – September 2024
Start with a 4 x 5-1/4″ piece of white cardstock secured to your work surface.
Using the layered stencils, work your way through them adding the pumpkins and ink blending with Simon Says Stamp Inks in Sunbeam, Carnation and Orchid. use Intense Black for the stems.
Next, cut a piece of black cardstock 3-7/8″ x 5-1/” to mat the art piece and then attach to a top folding A2 sized white card base.
Finally, white heat emboss a sentiment from the Clear Stamp and Die of the Month Set onto black cardstock and die cut with the coordinating dies. Attach to the card with foam squares.
Spellbinders Autumn Cards #3 – Large Die of the Month Club – September 2024
Start with a white A2 sized card base. Over that, cut a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of white, and emboss it with the Autumn Chevron Embossing Folder of the month. Attach it to the card front and set aside.
Next, use the dies to cut the fence, tree, pumpkins and sentiments. Ink blend with Distress Oxide Inks in Rustic Wilderness, Gathered Twigs, Spiced Marmalade and Wild Honey.
Then, create the background by die cutting the field in green. Trim it down to 3-1/4″ wide. Cut a blue sky 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″, attach the green field over it part ways up, and trim any overhang.
Finally, glue the fence down lining up the left side of the art piece, add the tree with foam squares, then the clouds. Trim any overhang before using foam strips to attach to the card base. Cut the sentiment from Gold cardstock and attach it to the bottom center.
