Hey card making friends. Happy Friday – yeah! we made it through another week. Today I’m sharing the Simon Says Stamp Elegant Blossom Card. I ordered some of the new Stamptember products at the beginning of the month and they finally arrived, so I thought I would give them a little Play. Today’s card uses the Elegant Blossoms Branch die set, the Lovely Stamp and Die Set and the Basket Weave Embossing Folder (LOVE THIS THING SO MUCH). It’s a pretty simple card to put together and the instructions are below for you.

Simon Says Stamp Elegant Blossom Card – Card Making Tutorial.
Start with a white A2 sized card base 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″
Next, cut a piece of Neenah Desert Storm card stock 4″ x 5-1/4″, spritz both sides with water before placing inside the Basket Weave embossing folder and embossing. Once dry, attach to the card front.
Then, Die cut the Elegant Blossom Branch die twice from Hammermill white cardstock and glue together. Place on a Waffle Flower Grip Mat and use blending brushes to add color to the pieces. Once dry, glue them together, then attach them down the left side of the card.
Simon Says Stamp Elegant Blossom Card – Add the Sentiment
Start with the Lovely two piece word die, cut the word out of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and the shadow background from white. Glue together and attach with foam squares across the bottom of the card.
Next, using the Carnation ink pad and your blending brush, blend a small patch of pink on a scrap of the Hammermill White card stock. Once dry, use the word “HELLO”, from the Lovely stamp set, and white heat emboss it on the pink piece.
Then, trim and attach above the larger sentiment with foam squares.
Finally, embellish with Pearl Embellishments.
