Welcome back, cardmaking friends! Today I’m excited to share a project featuring the Simon Says Stamp Confetti Butterflies from the recent Happy Camper release. This card combines both an embossing folder and coordinating dies. I’ve found that die-cutting the butterflies first and then placing them in the embossing folder gives the best results—otherwise, the embossing can get flattened during die-cutting.
For the leafy accents, I used the Fantasy Bouquet dies, also from this release, cutting them from Green Apple cardstock for a fresh pop of color. This design comes together quickly and easily, making it perfect for those short on time or just starting out in cardmaking.

Products used for the Simon Says Stamp Confetti Butterflies Card:
- Confetti Butterflies Wafer Dies
- Confetti Butterflies Embossing Folder
- Fantasy Bouquet Dies
- Delicate Blossoms Stamp and Die Set – for the sentiment
- Warm Tones Pawsitively Dazzling Gems.

Step-by-Step instructions on how to create the Simon Says Stamp Confetti Butterflies Card:
Start with a top-folding A2-sized white card base measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″. Layer a piece of Mint cardstock, cut to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, over the card base.
Die-cut two butterfly shapes from Lavender cardstock, then place them inside the Confetti Butterflies Embossing Folder and emboss.
Using a small blending brush, apply Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Orchid to the centers of the butterflies to bring out and highlight the embossed details.

Creating the leaves for the Simon Says Stamp Confetti Butterflies Die Cut Card:
Using the Fantasy Bouquet die set, cut the design twice from Green Apple cardstock.
With a small blending brush, apply Distress Oxide Ink in Rustic Wilderness, starting at the stems and softly blending outward onto each leaf to create dimension and shadow.

Creating the Sentiment:
From the Happy Camper release, use the Delicate Blossoms Stamp and Die set, and white heat emboss the stamp onto a scrap of black cardstock. Then, cut it out with the coordinating die and attach it with foam squares to the center of the card front.
Next, add the two butterflies, also popped up with foam squares for added dimension.
Then, around that, add the leaves and embellish with some pinky/purple gems from the Warm Tones Pawsitively Dazzling Gems.
