Good morning, friends! I have something a little different for you today, the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Frights Halloween Candy Pails. I found these adorable black metal pails at Michaels last weekend, and I just knew what I was going to do with them! I grabbed my Tiny Frights Stamp Set by Tim Holtz, along with the coordinating dies from Simon Says Stamp and got to work creating these spooky-cute treat containers.

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Frights Halloween Candy Pails:
1 – Bag the Treats
Start by visiting your bulk food store and picking up some bright, cheerful Halloween candies. Fill clear cello bags that fit inside your pails – I used 4″ x 2″ x 9.5″ for mine and they were the perfect size.
Next, use the Luggage Tags and Holes and Reinforcers Dies from the Simon Says Stamp Sugar and Spice release to die cut five tags in in a variety of fun, coordinating colors.
For a finished look, use the chisel tip of a black Copic marker to edge each tag, giving them a crips, polished border that makes the colors pop.

2 – Stamp, color and die cut the embellishments
Use two half sheets of Hammermill white cardstock 5- 1/2″ x 8-1/2″, in the Misti, and arrange the Tiny Frights stamps, leaving enough space between each image for die-cutting later.
Next, stamp the images using Memento Black Ink (Copic friendly), then color with copic markers:
- Yellow: Y11, Y15, Y19
- Orange: Y17, YR04, YR18
- Purple: V12, V15, V17
- Green: YG01, YG05, YG25
- Grey: N0, N1, N4, N5
- Brown: E31, E43, E57
Once colored, use the coordinating Tiny Frights dies from Simon Says Stamp to cut out each piece. These bright, playful images will become the perfect embellishments for your Halloween treat tags.

3- Embellish the Tags
Select your favorite Holes and Reinforcers die design to add a decorative accent around the opening at the top of each tag.
Next, thread a 6″ piece of black -and – white gingham ribbon through the hole and secure it with a small piece of black twine or rope tied in a bow for a finished, festive touch.
Place each tag into your Misti and stamp a fun Halloween sentiment onto the bottom portion.
Finally, use foam squares to attach your colored Halloween embellishments, giving each tag a playful dimension and a pop of personality.
