Hey cardmaking friends! I’m excited to be joining the Spellbinders August 2025 Clubs Blog Hop today. Each stop along the hop is filled with unique inspiration featuring one of this month’s club kits. My feature is the Glimmer of the Month Club Kit – Arctic Glimmer – and I have two fun cards to share with you. Both also showcase the adorable Fish Friends Bonus Die Set, exclusively for Deluxe Caboodle members. These little fish are irresistibly cute and so much fun to put together!

Products used for the Spellbinders August 2025 Clubs Blog Hop | Glimmer Fish Cards
- Arctic Glimmer – Glimmer of the Month
- Fish Friends – Bonus Die Set – Deluxe Caboodle
- Paper Splash – Clear Stamp and Die of the Month
- Splash Tales – Large Die of the Month
- The Deep Blue Two – Small Die of the Month
- Essential Arches
- White Glimmer Hot Foil and Speckled Prism Glimmer Hot Foil

The Glimmer Hot Foil Club of the Month features a background plate filled with playful bubbles, perfectly coordinated with the rest of this month’s club releases. For today’s cards, I used two different foils — white foil for the card on the left, and Speckled Prism Glimmer Hot Foil for the card on the right.

How to create the Spellbinders August 2025 Clubs Blog Hop Glimmer Fish Card #1
Start with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Waterfall cardstock and use the Arctic Glimmer Plate to White Hot Foil bubbles across the panel.
Attach the foiled panel to a top-folding A2-sized white card base (4-1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″).
Using the two-piece Fish Friends die set, cut ten fish fronts from watercolor paper that has been treated with Lindy’s Magical Powders in Polite People Purple and Sweet Violet Purple Teal. Cut the base layer of each fish from scraps of black cardstock, then assemble them with white liquid glue.
Arrange the fish in angled, straight-line rows from the center toward the left edge of the card and adhere them with foam squares for dimension. Finish by adding a white heat-embossed sentiment from the Paper Splash Clear Stamp and Die Set.

How to create the Spellbinders August 2025 Clubs Blog Hop Glimmer Fish Card #2
Start with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Waterfall cardstock and use the Arctic Glimmer Plate with Speckled Prism Glimmer Hot Foil to add a shimmering bubble pattern to the card front.
Using the Essential Arches dies, cut an arch opening from the foiled panel, then die-cut a slightly larger arch from white cardstock.
Attach the foiled panel to a top-folding A2-sized white card base (4-1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″). Layer the arch pieces over the opening, adhering them to the center of the card with foam squares for added dimension.

Die cut the clownfish, coral, and kelp, then arrange and adhere them to the arched panel (note: one small kelp piece is missing from the image, as it was added later).
To finish, use the Paper Splash Clear Stamp and Die of the Month to white heat emboss a sentiment onto a scrap of black cardstock. Trim the sentiment strip and attach it beneath the arch with foam squares for added dimension.
That’s it for my Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month share, I hope you enjoyed my cards and will give them a try.
