Welcome back, friends! The Spellbinders Monthly Clubs for March go live tomorrow, so I thought I would get a head start and share this card featuring the Spellbinders Classic Kicks Large Die of the Month – March 2026 card. This is such a fun and versatile die set! It includes two main themes – a trendy sneaker design with florals, plus a full set of BBQ-themed dies – so you can mix and match the elements to create cards for everything from birthdays to Father’s Day and all your favourite grill masters.
I couldn’t resist starting with the Kicks. You know that if I were designing my own sneakers, they would definitely be teal – probably with green laces – so in my little cardmaking fantasy world this morning, that’s exactly what I created. And since I also love flowers, I filled the sneaker with blooms bursting out of the top.

Products used for todays card:
- Large Die of the Month – Classic Kicks
- 3D Embossing Folder of the Month – Urban Grid
- Clear Stamp and Die of the Month – Good Times

How to create the Spellbinders Classic Kicks Large Die of the Month March 2026 Card:
Start with a white, A2-sized top-folding card base. Cut a second white panel to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and emboss it with the Urban Grid embossing folder. Attach the embossed panel to the front of the card base.
Next, die cut all the elements from the Classic Kicks Large Die of the Month and assemble the sneaker and floral pieces. Attach the sneaker to the card front using foam squares to add dimension and leave space to tuck in the floral stems behind it. Then arrange the flowers and greenery, securing them with small pieces of foam tape to create layered depth.
Finally, white heat emboss a sentiment onto black cardstock using the Good Time Stamp and Die set place it to the right of the florals. Finish the card with a light sprinkling of Silver Mix Color essential gems for just the right touch of sparkle.
Of course, you could easily take this in a more masculine direction by creating a classic black-and-white sneaker and filling it with the grilling tools (and maybe a couple of “brooskies” LOL). That might be the version I make next – for Ian!
