Hey cardmaking friends – welcome back! Today I have a Spellbinders You Are Super Die Cut and Stenciled Card to share with you. For this design, I combined the Small die of the Month kit with the Stencil of the Month to create a fun, Wonder Woman – inspired card.
The die set is pretty cool on its own, but I’m absolutely over the moon for the “Burst Mode” layering stencil set. The first four stencil layers create the dramatic burst background, and the final stencil adds the bold retro halftone dots over the top. It’s such a fun effect – bright, graphic, and wonderfully retro. I love it.

It’s the 6th of the month, which means that the March Spellbinders CLUBS are now Live! This months kits are fabulous, featuring a fun retro vibe that I absolutely love. There are also plenty of masculine elements, making it easy to create cads for all the guys in your life – which is always a nice change.
You can subscribe to your favorite clubs individually, but if you love them all, consider the CLUBS CRATE – and save 58%

How to create the Spellbinders You Are Super Die Cut and Stenciled Card:
Start by cutting a white card panel to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and secure it to a protected work surface. Ink blend through the first four stencils from the Burst Mode Stencil of the month with blue inks: Surf, Marine, Royal and Twilight. Then place the fifth stencil over the panel and add the halftone dots using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. Attach the finished panel to a top-folding A2-sized white card base.
Next, using the Small die of the Month – Unstoppable, die cut out the superhero, clouds, sentiment and stars. Assemble the die-cut pieces and attach them to the card front with foam squares to add dimension, arranging them as shown in the photo above.
Finally, There are so many ways you could customize this design – try switching up the color palette, using an embossed background instead of stenciling, or even create your own action hero to represent the person receiving the card.
