By adding soft shadows and highlights, you can bring dimension and life to your flowers and basket, creating a much more realistic and eye-catching design.

Cutting Instructions for the Spring Easter Basket Card | Simon Says Stamp Country Basket Bouquet Dies
Card Base: White cardstock, 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″
Card Front: Fog cardstock, 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
Layering Panel: White cardstock, 3-3/4″ x 5″
Flowers: Blush, Bellini and Tutu cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of each
Leaves: Peridot and Rainforest cardstock, 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of each
In today’s cardmaking video I walk you through the six steps I use to create my cards and show you how to elevate your die cuts with ink blending on colored cardstock. By adding soft shading and highlights, you can bring out the etched details and add beautiful dimension to your flowers and basket. The finished card comes together in soft spring colors that are sure to brighten someone’s day, and it’s a simple design that I guide you through step by step.
