Hi card making friends and welcome back. Today being the 6th of the month is when you can start ordering the new Spellbinders Feb 2024 Clubs. This month has so many beautiful SPRING designs, and I’m so looking forward to spring, it snowed all weekend here, LOL.
On a more positive note, I had my annual CT scans last week (3 of them), and I’m overjoyed to report that they were all clean, YEAH! The stress of these scans is immense and I don’t sleep at all until I get the results. Cancer sucks, just saying.

On to happier thoughts. I’m starting with the Large Die of the Month kit. This kit has a crazy amount of dies in it, and it’s build around this adorable bunny with his little fuzzy butt hanging out of a basket.
Super Cute, but in my stressed out stage yesterday (awaiting test results), I was not in the mood, LOL. so I took just the lily of the valley and leaf dies and I created a very soft and simple card. I also combined it with the Embossing Folder of the Month, Swirling Blooms, and the sentiment is from this month’s Clear Stamp and Die set, Lily Arch.
How to create the Spellbinders Feb 2024 Clubs Lily Heart Card.
Start with a top folding A2 sized white card base, 4-1/4 x 11″ score and fold at 5- 1/2″.
Next, cut a piece of Smoke cardstock 4 x 5-1/4″, spritz with water and run through the Swirling Blooms Embossing Folder. Once dry, rub a white pigment ink pad lightly over it to highlight the embossing. Attach to the card base. Notice how the embossing folder repeats the pattern in the flowers?
Then, cut a heart from white cardstock, spritz with water, and also emboss with the Swirling Blooms Embossing Folder. Attach to the card front with the left side hanging off, and trim flush.
Finally, using the Large Die of the Month Kit, Floral Bunny Basket , die cut the lilies and leaves out of Purple Mist and Rainforest card stock. Sponge them with Rustic Wilderness and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks to add shadow and depth before attaching them to the card front with foam squares to raise them up. Add the sentiment from the Lily Arch Stamp and Die club stamped in black on white and cut out with the coordinating die. You could also change out the sentiment for a very beautiful valentine’s card.
How to create the Spellbinders Feb 2024 Clubs – Rain Boot Bouquet Card.
The first two steps are the same as above to create the card base and card front.
Next, using the Small Die of the Month, Rain Boot Bouquet, cut out the boots from Teal Topaz and Waterfall cardstock. Place tape on the back of the waterfall cardstock, and gently inlay the darker teal highlight pieces.
The, cut out all the remaining flowers and leaves. Cardstock used: Persimmon, black, Sun kissed, Pink Sand, Purple Mist and white.
Highlight the pieces by ink blending with Distress Oxide inks in: Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, and Rustic Wilderness.
Finally, using foam tape, attach the boots to the card front, then add the florals and sentiment.
You can view all of the Spellbinders Feb 2024 Clubs here. Of course the best deal is the DELUXE CABOOTLE and with that you get a free monthly gift.
This month’s gift is this beautiful Better Press Press Plate and Die set that coordinated beautiful with the Flutter into Spring BetterPress of the Month Kit.

First: so wonderful that your scan results were clear! Hope you’re taking some time to celebrate this most excellent news!
Second: you’ve created a duo of lovely cards to highlight the versatility of the die sets. The lily-of-the-valley is soft and delicate; the rainboots, bright and cheery (I need a pair of those boots, in that colour, in real life!).
Thank you for the smiles and inspiration this morning!

Thanks Carole, it was an excruciating long wait for results this time, which of course makes you think the worst. I’m just so relieved, LOL. And thank you on the cards, it was fun to something a bit different with them this time, and you know I love to die cut.
Yay Sandi! Great news! So glad that the scans were all clean!! 🙂 And those cards are awesome! Love the little bunny butts. The flowers are really pretty too! Perfect for spring!
Each design is exquisite and playful! Love the heart – a lovely reminder of your strength. It isn’t easy waiting for results I know. Your sharing I am sure will help others deal with their experiences. You are so right – cancer does suck!
thank you Mary
So happy to hear that your test results were good, Sandi. So sorry for all you have been through.
Your cards were lovely and brought back childhood memories in Michigan of Lilies of the Valley. Haven’t heard of them in years! The lavender and green against the white/gray background produces a beautiful card for many occasions.
thank you Gayle, and also, thank you for the lovely christmas card, it arrived on friday, it took the long way, haha
No way! I guess it must have gone by way of a pony express! and a slow pony at that!
haha, yes, for sure, but it was worth the wait, haha
