Spellbinders, Finishing Up Club Cards

Hello crafty friends.  Today’s post is Spellbinders, Finishing Up Club Cards.  I had just a few club kits left to showcase this month, so I have combined them into two fun cards, I hope you will like them.

Products Used:

handmade card with a blue sky, a golf club about to hit a golf ball on a red tee on green grass and a green envelope with a gold ball shaped wax seal

Fairways and Fishtails – Die Of the Month, Deluxe Caboodle Bonus and Wax Seal of the Month.

I love how this turned out and we have a friend who makes golf clubs for a living, so he is getting this card, haha…..

Start with the Die of the Month Club Kit, you can either pick a golf theme or a fishing theme, both are included in the kit.

Cut a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card front from Breeze cardstock.  Over that, cut the grass with the die in Rainforest card stock and attach to the bottom of the panel.

Then cut the tee and the golf ball.  Glue them together and slide the tip of the tee just under the green grass so it looks like it’s pushed in and standing up.

Next, cut the golf club and the hole and add them.

Then, use the Deluxe Caboodle Bonus Glimmer Fairways and Fishtails Sentiments set to gold foil the sentiment and add it to the bottom of the card.

Let’s talk about the PERFECT embellishment for this card,

haha….this month’s wax seal has a golf ball pattern on it….and I’m going to use it as a seal on the envelope for the card.

TIP FOR MAILING WAX SEALS. – I place the sealed envelope inside a tight fitting cello bag and add a layer of cardstock over the wax seal.  It helps protect it going through the post office machines.   Also, try and place the wax seal on the top half of the card, as the bottom of the envelope is what gets squished and tagged with the machines.

Spellbinders Finishing Up Club Cards – Card 2 – Stitched Club, Glimmer of the Month and Large Die of the Month.

Let’s start with the Stitched Club of the month, called Diamond Knit.  Die cut the 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ panel from Waterfall cardstock, then stitch it with gold DMC thread.  Once that’s done, glue it down to a Teal Topaz Panel the same size and place something heavy on it until the glue dries.  Then attach it to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

Next, use the Large Die of the Month kit to cut out the black and white frame, the black and white doggie, bone and the slippers.

Then, glue all the pieces together and use foam squares to attach them to the card front.

Finally, use this months Glimmer of the Month Kit, We are All Family, and white glimmer the sentiments on black cardstock.  Cut out with the coordinating die and attach to the bottom center of the card.

Ok, that’s it for the club kits for March, but stay tuned as I have a pile of NEW RELEASES I’m going to work my way through next.
