Good evening, crafty friends. Tonight is the NEW release over at Simon Says Stamp, called RAIN or SHINE. It’s full of spring and Easter goodness, lovely new stamp sets, and dies. I pulled out my favorite from the release to create with today, the Simon Says Stamp Snowbell Bouquet Die Cut Card. This lovely die set creates the most beautiful and delicate die-cut snowbells.
They are the perfect size to fit on an A2 sized card, and I created two of them to share with you tonight.
Meanwhile, you can check out the entire RAIN AND SHINE RELEASE here.

How to create the Snowbell Bouquet Die Cut Card #1
Start by creating a white A2 sized top folding card base 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.
Next, cut a Audrey Blue card front 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and emboss it with the Dotty Diamonds Embossing Folder before attaching it to the card front. Run a White ink pad over it to highlight the dots and set it aside to dry.
NOTE: the pigment ink in a white ink pad takes a long time to dry, so be careful not to smudge it.
Then, die cut two sizes of the Nested Domed Arches and layer them. Die cut the Snowbell pieces as well. I used white for the flowers, and a green panel from my stash made with Lindy’s Magicals in Tibetan Poppy Teal and Shabby Turbine Teal.
Attach the panels together then attach the Snowbells using foam tape to pop them up. Wrap with the DMC Gold thread and place into a splat box to splatter with white paint.
NOTE, I added a bit of gray ink blending to the top of the flowers, just to add some depth and shadow to the die cuts.
Finally, once dry, attach to the card base with foam squares. Gold emboss a sentiment from the New Loving Thoughts Stamp Set and cut out with the coordinating dies. Attach this at the center over the stems. Embellish with the new Cottontail Embellishment Mix and clear Pawsitively Dazzling Gems.
How to create the Snowbell Bouquet Die Cut Card #2
Start with the same white A2 sized card base, then cut a white card panel 4″ x 5-1/4″ and attach to the card front with foam tape.
Next, cut a piece of white 2 ” x 4″ and run through the new Cubical Illusion Embossing Folder – this creates such a subtle and interest backdrop for die cuts.
Then, cut the Snowbell from white and green cardstock. I added a bit of sage and yellow ink blending to add some dimension and depth to the pieces.
Wrap the art piece with the DMC gold thread before attaching the embossed panel to the right side of the card. Place into a splat box and lightly splatter with gold paint.
Finally, Gold and white emboss two sentiments from the Thank You Basics Stamp and Die Set and attach bottom center. Embellish with the Cottontail Embellishments and Gold Pawsitively Dazzling Gems.
